Artist 廖栢賢 Liao Pai-Hsie

廖栢賢

寓物設計創辦人，畢業於國立新竹教育大學金工組，旁及各類不同的手做工藝例如木工、雕塑、陶藝 等等，而後轉攻讀台灣科大學工商業設計所取得碩士學位，替代役時服役於草屯國立台灣工藝研究發展中心，得以觸碰到更多不同的工藝製程。創作主要以漆器為主，複合其他的媒材，例如金工，燒箔等等不一樣的表現媒材，透過自身對於生命的歷程及對周遭的觀察，在生活中探索創作的線索，喜歡使用敘事以及角色帶入的方式，呈現理念於故事之中。近期也嘗試大型的地景裝置藝術，透過自身對於藝術創作的了解以及搓合工業設計的思維，引導觀者來體驗一個趣味的感知體驗。

Liao Pai-Hsie

Graduated from the Metalwork Division of National Tsing Hua University, with exposure to various handcraft disciplines including woodworking, sculpture, ceramics, and others. Subsequently pursued and obtained a Master's degree in Industrial and Commercial Design from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. During his alternative military service at the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute in Caotun, he gained access to a broader range of craft-making processes. His creative practice primarily centres on lacquerware, incorporating other media such as metalwork and foil burning as diverse expressive materials. Through personal life experiences and observations of his surroundings, he explores creative threads within everyday life, favouring narrative approaches and character-driven methods to embed concepts within storytelling. Recently, he has also ventured into large-scale land art installations, guiding viewers through engaging sensory experiences by synthesising his understanding of artistic creation with industrial design thinking.
